Digital Marketing Assistant

What we're looking for:

As a Digital Marketing Assistant, you’ll support the marketing team with planning, implementing, and monitoring our marketing campaigns, so experience in and passion for marketing is a must. You’ll need good analytical skills as you’ll be producing reports and regularly measuring the ROI to help inform future marketing campaigns.

You’ll need to have great inter-personal skills with the ability to communicate clearly and precisely, as you’ll be writing and editing content for our social media, websites, and press releases. As you’ll be helping with designing, developing, and proofreading literature and promotional materials you’ll need to have excellent attention to detail.

You’ll need working knowledge of analytics and SEO tools, as you’ll be working with third party agencies that provide us with support for SEO.

The ability to liaise and build relationships with people is a must, as you’ll be working with internal and external stakeholders, designers, copywriters and producers to deliver on assets and plans.

Some of the things you'll get up to:

  • Measuring campaign and content performance, analysing, and providing recommendations for optimisation
  • Supporting the formulation of strategies to build a lasting digital connection with consumers
  • Competitor research and analysing benchmarking data
  • Production of marketing materials and collateral
  • Designing and implementing targeted marketing campaigns
  • Carrying out market research and monitoring competitor activity, demand, brand positioning and awareness
  • Assisting in the preparation and organisation of exhibitions and events and attending these where required
  • Assisting with email content distribution including tactics, production, segmentation,and reporting
  • Uploading and optimising content within the CMS across the group’s websites, emailplatforms and other platforms

We'd like you to have:

  • Minimum two years’ marketing experience
  • Working knowledge of analytics and SEO tools, such as Google Trends, Ahrefs and Google Analytics (GA4)
  • Good Microsoft skills particularly with Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Good organisational skills with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances
  • Excellent level of literacy and numeracy
  • Able to interact and cooperate with all company teammates and external customers and suppliers
  • Excellent customer service skills and telephone manner
  • Strong planning and prioritising skills
